Jasper is an experienced and successful entrepreneur. He co-founded Static 2358 (the predecessor to PlayJam) which raised £9.8 million in venture capital. The company was sold for $69 million.
Jasper also founded and ran Optimistic Entertainment Plc, which produced approximately 24,000 hours of game shows for various TV broadcasters in the UK, France, and the USA. Prior to Static 2358, Jasper worked in senior management roles within BSkyB and Telenor.
Marco is an experienced Chartered Accountant who worked with PWC on a variety of businesses across a range of sectors in London, South Africa and Silicon Valley.
Post PWC he has been involved in advising and managing a number of businesses in the private equity, telecom, IT and leisure sectors with a focus on early stage financing needs and growth strategy as well as strategic disposals, restructuring and acquisition assessments.
Anthony has led a number of start-up and early-stage businesses across a wide range of sectors, each with a strong technology theme.
With postings in the UK, US, Australia and Croatia he has an established international commercial background with a focus on delivering transformation and growth resulting in a number successful SME exits. At PlayJam, Anthony heads the commercial and marketing activity for PlayJam’s core business and engineering units.
Steve hails from Cape Town and comes from a technical background having developed financial & operating systems for blue-chip companies since the late 80's.
His entrepreneurial passion and 20-year experience lead him to lecture on the subject before moving to banking, focusing on Risk and Data Security. He has since functioned as Director of Projects and CTO of a multinational bank. Today Steve heads operations at PlayJam and is director of special projects.
Tim is responsible for managing and selling a wide range of hardware products and has extensive knowledge of games and game platforms for TV.
Prior to focusing on Android based hardware projects Tim has managed, designed and produced gaming platforms for traditional pay per view broadcast TV platforms in the UK, Europe, Malaysia and South Africa and Smart TV platforms for all major TV manufacturers including Samsung, LG, Sony and Panasonic.
Kasper heads PlayJam’s core engineering team and is responsible for the design and delivery of the PlayJam Platform.
With a strong background in embedded systems, having previously run worldwide R&D for an industry leading PCB/ATE manufacturer working with high profile customers including Apple, Raytheon, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Foxconn and Cisco.
Terry is spearheading PlayJam's new mobile advertising division, which uses advanced HTML5 creatives and big data to generate exceptional levels of user engagement.
New technologies and ad formats fully utilize the display, networking and processing capabilities of the latest mobile devices - a leap ahead of traditional mobile ad formats. Terry previously worked at the forefront of mobile ad business development at Applift where clients included Disney, King and Supercell.
